In summer the region Mariazeller Land is ideal for walks and hikes in the nature as well as for climbing tours and other leisure and sports activities. Popular trip destinations are the alpine pasture Mariazeller Bürgeralpe as well as the alpine pasture Gemeindealpe Mitterbach with scooter track and mountain carts. Both mountains are reachable via a comfortable funicular or a chair lift.
